Head of Coffee & Quality Assurance

Binnen deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volledige kwaliteitsbewaking door protocollen op te stellen voor espresso, V60 en batch brew, inclusief dagelijkse controles van de smaakprofielen. Je leidt ons team van barista’s op en deelt jouw diepgaande kennis over zeldzame koffiesoorten en complexe brandtechnieken. Daarnaast adviseer je over de inkoop van specialty coffee, onderhoud je contacten met internationale leveranciers en ontwikkel je signature drinks die zorgen dat ZERAIN voorop loopt in de nieuwste koffietrends.

We zoeken een leider die streeft naar perfectie in elk detail en beschikt over minimaal drie jaar aantoonbare ervaring op hoog niveau in de specialty coffee scene. Je bezit diepgaande technische kennis van high-end apparatuur en complexe extractiemethoden. Daarnaast heb je ruime ervaring met kwaliteitsmanagement en het trainen van personeel om het team naar een hoger plan te tillen.

Your responsibilities center on comprehensive quality assurance, establishing rigorous protocols for espresso, V60, and batch brew while performing daily sensory checks on flavor profiles. You will lead and coach our team of baristas, sharing your profound knowledge of rare coffee varieties and complex roasting techniques. Furthermore, you will manage specialty coffee sourcing, maintain relationships with international suppliers, and develop signature drinks that keep ZERAIN at the forefront of global coffee trends.

You are a leader who strives for perfection and possesses at least three years of proven high-level experience in the international specialty coffee scene. You have deep technical knowledge of high-end equipment and complex extraction methods. Your background includes significant experience in quality management and professional staff training.
